Spotless long awaited

Your glint travels upward to my branches,
Roll you over in my palm.
Turned to be refined
And I will wash you.

Let me put this garnet darling
In your telling window
Sometimes quick and
sometimes low.

A carmine love to hold you
To see you safely through
Come to my threshing floor
And place this garment over

Of eyes and smiles, tears and Joy
Opal and linen, water and light

I can see the sky turning
Only brighter with the sun
I can see you spotless burning
And I will
I will take your hand and walk you forward
